Data and Information

Ottumwa Generating Station (OGS) and Ottumwa-Midland Landfill (OML) are facilities located in Ottumwa, Iowa.  The Ottumwa-Midland Landfill and its Ottumwa-Midland Phase 1 Expansion are located approximately 12 miles from OGS at a separate facility on the other side of the Des Moines River. 

The CCR units and the regulatory designation of the units at OGS and OML are below. The Ottumwa-Midland Landfill and its Ottumwa-Midland Phase 1 Expansion were previously described as separate existing CCR landfills although they are managed and permitted in one footprint as a single existing CCR landfill by the facility and by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

• OML Landfill & OML Landfill Expansion - Phase 1 (existing landfill)
